TomTom Hopes To Improve Your Game with the Golfer 2 GPS Watch

By on March 19, 2016

Dutch electronics navigation and GPS mapping company TomTom announced on Tuesday, at the Wearable Technology Show in London, the release of a new sportwatch designed for golfers. The TomTom Golfer 2 is a GPS-equipped digital wearable watch that can calculate distances and even view hazards (things like sand bunkers and ponds) on over 40,000 golf courses worldwide.

The TomTom Golfer 2 uses bluetooth 4.0 to connect to your smartphone or tablet using TomTom MySports app on Android and iOS. TomTom claims this golf specific smartwatch with automatic shot detection and analysis will help lower that handicap. In fact the new Golfer2 can differentiate your practice swings from your game swing. TomTom claims the Battery life in GPS mode is 11 hours, so you get an extra hour of tracking over the original TomTom Golfer released in 2015.

Key Features:
Course Navigation for over 40,000 courses
Course GPS for Distances with Hazardass areas warning
Greens Maps
Pars for each hole
